Discovering faith and purpose

The Faith Builder Roadmap: Discovering Purpose Through Faith

"Faith isn’t a weakness—it’s the foundation for purpose, success, and fulfillment."

My Journey Back to Faith

I didn’t always have strong faith.

I grew up in a Christian family, went to Sunday school, and learned all the Bible stories. But as I got older, I stepped away from the church—not because I rejected its message, but because I questioned it.

I believed in God, but I questioned everything.

🔹 How and why would animals just flock to an ark, two by two?
🔹 How convenient that a male and female of each just happened to show up?
🔹 Are these stories meant to be real history, or just feel-good lessons?

For most of my adult life, faith took a backseat.

But over the last four years (mostly the last 8 months), something changed.

I started attending church again. I even left a church I loved to explore options. I still had questions, but this time, instead of keeping them to myself, I started verbalizing them to others.

And I didn't just attend church, I decided to be bold and attend everything. My first Bible Study, an event my church Impact in Scottsdale Arizona calls Encounter Night. The more I attended and the more I witnessed the more I trusted.

And then, for the first time in my life… I truly prayed. Like Truly!

Not just quick "God, help me" or Dinner Gratitude prayers, but deep, intentional get down on your knees, shed some tears, "God, show me the next step" prayers. And what happened next changed everything.

How Faith Built Sisu Vida and T Scott Elite

I didn’t just pray—I listened.

And every time I asked God for the next step, an answer always came.

🔹 What should I do next?Build a company that impacts lives.
🔹 How can I make a real difference?Help people unlock their elite mindset to find their purpose, power identity and true potential.
🔹 Why would a successful real estate agent walk away from a 25-year career to do this?Because this isn’t your mission. It’s mine. I just assigned you to it.

That’s when I knew.

Sisu Vida and T Scott Elite aren’t just companies. They’re God’s assignment for me —and a way to help people find their purpose, clear their mental and emotional roadblocks, and discover faith among other life changing qualities for themselves.

But my new found faith lead to curing the biggest barrier in my life and most people's lives.

You see, I found my God Given Purpose. Purpose is what separates success from despair— clarity from confusion and discovering purpose requires faith.

And here’s the thing I know some of you can relate to: I’m that guy that seeing is believing. If you can't prove it, it doesn't exist. It’s a blessing and a curse. In fact, I would guess most people that attend church are still living in this space as it pertains to faith. I don't think it, I know it.

But I could never prove God's existence (to myself) so long as I didn’t take the necessary steps to prove he was working in my life.

Once I took the steps, the answers came quickly.

Now I sit in church at 8:30 every Sunday morning or attend Bible Study and I hear God talking to me because the message always - and I mean always - resonates with my new found purpose.

In fact, I pray when I arrive for God to speak to me through the message.

He always does.

The Power of Faith in Life and Success

Faith and Mindset: The Science of Belief

Faith isn’t just about religion—it’s a mindset. And science proves it.

🔹 Harvard Medical School found that prayer and faith reduce stress and anxiety, leading to a clearer, more focused mind.
🔹 A study in the Journal of Positive Psychology found that people with strong faith are more resilient, confident, and better at overcoming life’s challenges.
🔹 Duke University research showed that individuals with spiritual beliefs are 40% more likely to feel a strong sense of life purpose, which is directly linked to success and fulfillment.
🔹 A study by the American Psychological Association found that people who believe in a higher purpose are more likely to achieve their goals, stay disciplined, and maintain long-term motivation.

Faith strengthens identity, mindset, and resilience—the exact qualities needed for success in any area of life.

The Wrong Question: What If There Is No God?

People who struggle with faith often ask:
"What if there is no God?"

I used to ask this too. I felt like believing in God made me naïve or foolish, like I was blindly following something I couldn’t prove or support with words.

But that’s the wrong question.

The real question if you want real answers is:
"What if there is?"

🔹 What if God really does have a purpose for your life?
🔹 What if prayer really does open doors?
🔹 What if trusting in something greater than yourself is the key to breaking through your struggles?

If you are currently like I was, this question will lead you to finding the answers you need. Faith isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about trusting in the process and allowing God to reveal your next steps.

The Faith Builder Roadmap Sequence

1. Problem Shifting

Faith struggles often begin with mental clutter, doubts, and hesitation.

  • Why Problem Shifting? It’s the simplest and fastest way to clear the daily distractions and worries blocking your connection to faith.

  • Many people feel lost because they never quiet their minds enough to actually listen to what God is telling them.

  • Reminder: The more you use Problem Shifting, the easier it gets to trust your faith journey.

2. Blockage Shifting (If Needed)

If faith still feels out of reach, Blockage Shifting helps remove subconscious resistance.

  • Some people want to believe but feel held back by past disappointments or unanswered prayers.

  • Blockage Shifting helps untangle these spiritual and mental barriers, making room for deeper faith.

3. Belief Shifting

Faith and belief go hand in hand.

  • If you’ve ever thought, "I want to believe, but I just can’t," that’s a limiting belief keeping you stuck.

  • Belief Shifting helps remove skepticism and replace it with trust and openness to faith.

4. Identity Shifting

Most people have an identity so fragile that they’re afraid to talk about Christianity or God in any social setting.

  • If you hesitate to mention faith because you fear judgment, that’s an identity issue.

  • Identity Shifting allows you to step into faith with confidence, embracing your beliefs without hesitation.

5. Trauma Shifting (If Needed)

Faith struggles often come from past wounds.

  • Maybe a church leader betrayed your trust or your prayers felt unanswered during a difficult time.

  • Trauma Shifting helps separate past pain from your future faith, so you can experience God in a new way.

6. Reality Shifting (Goal-Based Mind Shifting)

Faith isn’t just about believing—it’s about taking action.

  • Reality Shifting is goal-based mind shifting—it helps you craft and achieve your spiritual goals.

  • Whether that means praying consistently, studying scripture, or serving others, Reality Shifting helps you set and achieve faith-driven goals that strengthen your connection to God.

7. Maintenance

Faith is a lifelong journey, not a one-time breakthrough.

  • Use Reality Shifting weekly to stay focused on spiritual growth.

  • Use Problem Shifting to clear distractions and keep your mind open to faith.

  • The more you engage with your faith, the stronger it becomes.

Final Words of Encouragement

Faith isn’t about knowing all the answers—it’s about trusting that the answers will come.

I questioned faith for 50 years. But once I started truly praying, listening, and following the path God laid out for me, everything changed.

Your purpose is waiting for you.

And all it takes to find it? Faith.
